I’m thrilled to introduce you to a transformative technique that complements our yoga journey:
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping.
Originating from ancient Chinese medicine and modern psychology, EFT tapping involves gently tapping on specific energy points on the body while focusing on releasing negative emotions and restoring balance. It’s like a reset button for your mind and body, allowing you to release tension, stress, and emotional blockages.
So, why integrate EFT tapping into our yoga practice?
Enhanced Emotional Release: Just like yoga, EFT tapping encourages the release of emotional tension stored in the body. By combining the two practices, we create a safe space to acknowledge and release any emotional baggage we may be carrying, leaving us feeling lighter and more centered.
Deeper Mind-Body Connection: Yoga already does wonders for connecting the mind and body, and adding EFT tapping takes it to the next level. As we tap on specific energy meridians, we become more attuned to the subtle energy flowing within us, deepening our awareness and connection during our practice.

So, how can we incorporate EFT tapping into our yoga practice?
During our sessions, we’ll begin by setting an intention for our practice, whether it’s to release stress, cultivate gratitude, or foster self-love. We’ll then seamlessly integrate tapping sequences into our practice, tapping on specific points while focusing on our chosen intention.
As we move through our practice, we’ll invite moments of stillness to tap and breathe, allowing the energy to flow freely and the emotions to surface and release. By the end of the session, you will hopefully feel more grounded, centered, and aligned.
